Hexies!!

Look what I got in the post on Friday…

A cute ‘coaster’ in aqua, pink and red from Hadley. It came with a cute card thanking me for the loveliness I had sent Hadley by way of naming my quilt.

The only fabric I recognise is the little dog… I believe that to be a Sherbit Pip print! I really love the colour combination. Those hexies are really really small (1/2″ in size. Hadley posted a making-of post here, where you can see the gorgeous backing. I have added this is my inspiration pile, which includes my Kaffe Fasset Brit Quilt Swap mini and matching pincushion — I have no intention to use this as a ‘coaster’!!!!

A Little Gift

Two weeks ago Molly sent me this little bundle of Innocent Crush in a ‘swap’ as I had sent her some of the hugely popular perle threads I was giving away.
Thank you Molly!! I hope to be using them in a project sometime this year, when I have I got some of the other IC range.
