Less than 3 weeks to go to this year’s Fat Quarterly Retreat… Yikes!
As I do all my sewing by hand, I didn’t have a problem this year with classes (last I only had 2 classes over the whole weekend!). I will be doing the following classes:
- Embroidery with John
- Fantasy Fabric Shop with Kerry
- Trapunto
- Cathedral Windows
I have always wanted to try doing the last two, but have shied away from doing it on my own.
For those who were at last year’s FQR and saw me doing some hand quilting, I will be bringing my bound blue monster to this year’s FQR. Alas, she still needs a label 😦
For the quiet times between classes, I hope to be working on a current project that has just reached the half-way stage in the piecing.
